Watercolor has given me a new way of seeing the world.  I began to look for shape and color,  light and shadow.   It is a more attentive approach to perception.   While I enjoyed art classes through childhood and my teens,  I did not take up watercolor until I retired.   I am grateful for opportunity to explore this media which offers both technical challenges and its own unique beauty.
